Going For Good

It’s been a long time coming, and we are nearly ready to introduce you to Going for Good by Bella Adventures. Over the last 30 years of traveling around Europe, some of my most cherished memories move beyond the miles logged and cultures observed. Rather, I recall so vividly and fondly the opportunities I had to engage on a deeper level with local organizations and individuals doing incredible work to lift underserved communities, protect their environment and preserve their national heritage. 

Much like in the US, there are nonprofits and heroic individuals in Europe changing lives and minds for the better, some with incredibly limited resources. My participation has ranged from simply buying an admission ticket with the proceeds going to a worthy cause, to organizing a clothing drive for local families in Rome wholly supported by two tour groups I was working with. 

The opportunities to make a greater impact on your next holiday are boundless, but I will admit, they are not always easy to find. And that is why Going for Good was born, and the mission is simple, to provide a database of opportunities to give back to the wonderful places around Europe we love to go.
