Come November, You'll Want to Be There...

To call November the IT month for travel to Europe is a gross understatement.
This is the month the heat and crowds are gone, live arts are in full swing, and the prices are some of the best you will find all year - especially that second and third week of the month.

Here is why we LOVE traveling to Europe in November:

  1. Escape the Heat. Skyrocketing temps have turned into slightly balmy climes and gorgeous sunshine in the southernmost parts of Europe and cozy sweater weather to the north. Ahh, no more lamenting about underperforming AC.

  2. Lose the Pack. The back to school, back to work crowds have returned home, taking the crunch of high season travel with them.

  3. Be Appreciated and Rewarded. Hotels, restaurants, shops, theatres and even the locals are so much more appreciative of your business and have rolled back peak and even shoulder season pricing to entice you to linger a little longer.

  4. Do Your Part. The damage that over tourism is doing to communities around the world cannot be overstated. By moving your trip to off-peak periods, your dollars still feed the economy with less risk of diverting scare resources from the locals.

While November is certainly not the only low season option (think January – March), it can be the best of them all. If you need ideas or help traversing the myriad of options out there, we are here to help!
